Helen is passionate about financial planning. Having lost both parents by the age of 10, she was inspired by an Adviser who helped her family. With her career starting in the early 90s, Helen founded Equanimity in 2004. She has a vast experience in all aspects of financial advice and has developed a specialism in pensions and divorce where she is a noted speaker. With a love of music, travel and culture her weekends are spent tiring out her 2 sons.
Matthew joined the Equanimity IFA team having worked for a large high street bank for many years. With a passion for advice, he works as a paraplanner specialising in investment and tax.
In his spare time, he is a keen footballer and enjoys supporting the England rugby team at Twickenham.
Ben is our mortgage and protection specialist having joined the team in 2016, having had a career working for a financial planning firm in Australia. He spent the last few months living in Amsterdam, before returning to London in October 2017 to continue his career with Equanimity IFA. Ben completed his first marathon in 2017 however his passion lies in cricket and rugby league; the latter of which he hosts a pod cast discussing the highs and lows of his beloved Cowboys.
Kelvin joined the Equanimity IFA Team to support our paraplanners in their daily role. With a background working in a back-office role for a large advice firm, he enjoys the direct client contact available at Equanimity. A health and fitness enthusiast, Kelvin represented England U21’s at Ice Hockey in international tournaments and is currently an amateur boxer.
Katherine is our Office Manager as well as being Helen’s personal assistant. With over 20 year’s industry experience, she provides clients with a service that is second to none. Having 2 active sons she enjoys the peace of quiet of her garden on a Saturday afternoon to relax from the stresses of daily life.
